Definition

A decentralized method for treating plastic waste and other SPCW where conventional waste infrastructure is unavailable, impractical, or too costly.

The Post-Incineration Framework(PIF) does not begin with a conventional incinerator. It begins with the behavior of  oxidation and with a thermal structure that can be built, operated, and validated locally.

Need

The problem is distributed. The response should be distributed too.

Plastic waste accumulates across islands, remote communities, rural areas, and coastlines where collection, transport, and centralized treatment are often impractical or unaffordable. PIF provides a locally applicable approach to treating SPCW closer to where it is generated.

Mechanism

AFC  (Augean Flow Core)provides the thermal architecture.
SSOF (Self-Sustained Oxidation Flow) is the oxidation behavior formed within it.

Heat established. Fuel removed. Flow sustains.

Difference

  • No conventional enclosed incinerator

  • No continuous burner

  • No separate secondary combustion chamber

  • No routine dependence on downstream emission-control equipment

  • Minimal visible smoke and noticeable odor under stable operation

Evidence

Built in the field. Operated in the open. Measured without downstream treatment.

AFC structures have been built and operated under actual field conditions using plastic and mixed waste. External measurements were conducted without scrubbers or other downstream emission-control equipment. The archive provides operating records, test conditions, videos, and measurement results for independent review.

From Framework to Field

A method,

not a machine.

The Post-Incineration Framework begins with a simple proposition: plastic waste should not have to travel long distances to reach an expensive, centralized facility before it can be treated responsibly.

Instead, the necessary capability can be established closer to where SPCW is generated—through a thermal architecture that can be built locally, operated independently, and validated under actual field conditions.

PIF defines the overall framework. IWI (Incineration without Incinerator) expresses its departure from conventional incineration. AFC provides the physical architecture, and SSOF describes the self-sustained oxidation behavior formed within it.

Together, they constitute a decentralized method developed primarily for plastic waste and other SPCW—not as a smaller conventional incinerator, but as a fundamentally different approach to thermal treatment.

Why We do this

Plastic waste should not remain untreated simply because conventional solutions are too large, costly, or distant.
AZADrg makes a field-developed alternative available where it is most needed. We do not manufacture and export another incinerator. We share a method that local actors can understand, build, operate, and validate. We help communities, institutions, and funding partners act with confidence.
Our role is to preserve the integrity of the method while supporting its non-commercial use.
